Welcome to the E5 Nexus Lab at XXX of XXX.
The group is led by Dr. Fei Yao (Fei.Yao@ed.ac.uk).
We focus on a wide range of topics at the nexus of energy systems, the atmospheric environment, public health (epidemiology), the economy, and ecosystem health, with a particular emphasis on the atmospheric environment:
- Satellite remote sensing of atmospheric environment and energy infrastructure
- Drivers of atmospheric environmental variations and their impacts on energy, public health, and ecosystem health
- Trade-offs and synergies in mitigating multiple atmospheric environmental impacts
Our research is primarily based on Earth Observation data and computational models, including process-based models (e.g., GEOS-Chem, PVLIB-Python), data assimilation (e.g., adjoint methods), and artificial intelligence (e.g., XXX).
